Sanitation employees require protective equipment.

Members of our community that play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our communities are sanitation workers. They put in a lot of effort to gather rubbish and dispose of it, which may be a nasty and dangerous task. Poor air quality, which can have negative health effects, is one of the major risks sanitation employees must deal with. Workers in the sanitation industry frequently don N95 masks to protect themselves from the air’s dangerous contaminants.

Personal protective equipment (PPE) called N95 masks is intended to block at least 95% of airborne particles. These masks are constructed of a number of filtering layers that catch particles as they pass through the mask. As a result, they are quite successful at lowering the possibility that workers would breathe in dangerous particles, which can result in respiratory disorders and other health concerns.
