N95 masks are designed to filter out at least 95% of airborne particles. They are used in many industries such as construction, mining, and healthcare to protect workers from breathing in hazardous materials. In the context of interior trim, N95 masks can be used to protect workers from inhaling dust and other particles that may be released during the installation process.

Something you need to keep in mind:

1. To use an N95 mask properly, it must form a seal to your face. Your breath must pass through the mask and not around its edges. Jewelry, glasses, and facial hair can cause gaps between your face and the edge of the mask. The N95 works better if you are clean shaven. Gaps can also occur if your N95 is too big, too small, or it was not put on correctly.

2. NIOSH has a list of approved N95 respirators. These masks should have a cup, flat fold or duck bill shape; two straps that go around your head;  TC approval number approved by NIOSH must be printed in the masks.

3. N95 masks are disposable filtering facepiece respirators, better to use no more than 6 hours. N95 masks are not omnipotence, which cannot protect users against toxin gases, chemical and corruptive substance.
