With a rated efficiency rating of greater than 95%, it is approved by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), a part of the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in the United States.
WARNING
BEFORE occupational use of this respirator, a written respiratory protection program must be implemented meeting all the local government requirements. In the United States, employers must comply with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.134

The LUVMED N95 respirator mask is designed to filter ≥95% particles that result from handling substances such as flour, pollen, wood, metals, minerals, silica, coal, ores, and others. Wear when performing such actions as sweeping,
sanding, sawing, leaf blowing, welding, cutting, and metal heating.
Do NOT Use to protect from oil aerosols, vapors or gases. Also not intended for use while sandblasting. The mask is ineffective against concentrated particles that are more than ten times the limit set by government regulations concerning occupational exposure.
