What are the latest experts saying about masks

An expert insists that “Omicron is by far the most contagious virus of covid,”  She suggest that “we need to stop the spread of COVID-19 now more than ever. It is the second most contagious virus known to man after measles and has a contagiousness rate three times higher than the Delta variant.

She continued, stating that “N95 masks provide the maximum level of protection since they protect against large and small particles, not just large particles,” which is why they are “recommended for public use.”

N95 masks and other masks

N95 masks  “are comprised of many layers of synthetic fibers called polypropylene, and if worn as recommended, they block 95 percent of airborne particles from passing through.”

While masks such as FFP2, FFP3 , KN95 and KF94 mask also provide protection.

The KN95 certification of GB-2626-2006 or GB2626-2019 in China and the KF94 certification in Korea are all substitue of “N95.

One professional warned against wearing “masks with valves in high-risk area though masks with valve can make wearer easier to breathe.”  It will cause risk to other people surrounding you if you have contracted the novel coronavirus but have no idea of that.

Make sure your face is covered with the mask.

According to Dr. Edje, all masks should cover the face from the chin down to the bridge of the nose (where the spectacles are). “There should be no gaps in the wearer’s ability to turn his or her head to the side, up, or down.”
