Schools are protecting against the Covid-19 Virus
As the Covid-19 virus continues to spread, many schools are taking extra precautions to protect their students and staff. This is a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of students, staff, and faculty. Those who do not comply with the new requirement may be subject to disciplinary action. The campus community has been asked to stay vigilant for any signs or symptoms of this deadly disease. Families should contact their doctor if they suspect they or their loved ones may have contracted Covid-19 and seek medical attention immediately.

Wearing an N95 face mask can help prevent the spread of the virus. If you are sick, please stay home and consult with a medical professional. Remember to wash your hands often, avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth, and refrain from sharing food or drinks with others. These tips will help stop the spreading of Covid-19 at UC Irvine and other schools as well. Wearing a mask indoors can help prevent the spread of the virus. Another way that people may protect themselves against CoVid-19 is by washing their hands often with soap and water or alcohol-based hand sanitizer.
